The pneumatic storing arrangement is esp. for removing blockages in coal mining caused by unbroken heaps falling together as a shaft is worked. At least one reciprocating chamber (7) is provided within the main housing (1) to pick up the heap fed to it. The chamber (7) is driven via a reciprocating piston drive (5, 6). A filling opening (4) in the top surface (2) of the housing (1) is surrounded by a filling funnel (3). The piston drive (5, 6) causes the chamber (7) to be momentarily coupled with a stowing lead (9) whose contents are transported away, and a snap-action valve coupled to a compressed air storage chamber.
