The wind deflector for the car window has its upper, front and rear edges with bent over flanges to grip under the sealing trim in the window frames. This prevents the deflector from being removed by a thief, to gain entry to the car. The deflector is made from unbreakable thin plastic, which is flexible enough to clip into place, after which the sealing trim is pressed into the frame. The deflector is fitted between the outer edge of the sealing strip and the frame.
