Porous light concrete slab assembled noise screen wall - has interconnected slabs held between upright support and cross beam flanges

The roadside, airfield or similar noise-screening wall is made up from open-pored, non-reinforced light concrete slabs, gripped and held upright by T-irons at both narrow sides, with two flanges driven into the ground. The supports (1) are connected by a bottom cross beam in the ground, and by a centre and a top one (2, 4, 3). A number of light concrete slabs (6), approx. 100cm long and 120 cm high, are held between the flanges (2a, 4b) on the supports and on the bottom and centre cross beams, and the slabs are also joined to each other. Supports and centre cross beam can be T-shaped in cross-section, while the top and bottom cross beams are U-sectioned. They can be made of steel or reinforced concrete. This is durable, weather-resistant, and easily made and transported and has good noise-absorbing qualities.
