The door hinge includes a U-section support arm (18) with an adjustment screw (32) mounted in the inner end part. remote from the axis of the hinge. The hinge element extends from the adjustment screw (32) towards the hinge axis up to the part of the support arm (18) which lies on the door side in front of the fastening screw (28) where the hinge element is then supported on the assembly plate. The U-arm of the hinge element fit flat inside the U-arms of the support are allowing sufficient space for a concealed latch or spring mechanism.
