Angular setting for NC machine tool table - uses electric motor and then hand wheel with final hydraulic locking

Optical angle table is adjustable through ninety degrees, both horizontally and vertically, by hand or by means of a motor, and permits reading of the required angle via an optic (4) with an accuracy of a second of arc. Likewise, the clamping plate (3) can be stopped and locked at any required angle, vertically and horizontally, making possible the precision machining of workpieces positioned upon it, with the same degree of accuracy. The rough adjustment of the required angle occurs firstly via an electric motor positioning drive (7) and the fine adjustment is then achieved by means of a hand wheel (5). The electric motor is placed into operation by means of a command device. The table is finally locked into position by means of two stabilising arms (2) operated hydraulically.
