A correctly timed handling of waiting request events is to be ensured even when various types of requests of equally-authorised access points are present. For this purpose, the request event is only stored when all connection path facilities (AVSx, HS1, HS2) are busy in connection with the address of the access point (N1, N2) outputting the request in vain and with the type of request. The storing is effected in the order of the determination of requests. The handling is effected not only in the order of arrival but also in the order of priority of the type of request. As a result, equally-authorised request events can also be forwarded at different speed in dependence on the idle and busy state of requested connection path facilities depending on their type. IMAGE
