The rectangular voltage is generated from a voltage signal which is delivered by an input voltage source. The generator has at least one amplifier connected as a Schmitt trigger whose input is connected to the input voltages source and the rectangular voltage is delivered by its ouput. There is a differential amplifier (1) which may be used as the main amplifier in the circuit. Its second input is connected through an RC low-pass filter (8, 9) to the input voltage source (14-17).
