The noise protection capsule includes an accident prevention arrangement for a press or punch. It prevents access to the working region by the operating personnel during the working cycle. The moving part of the shielding (4) is a thick or multilayer structure with air chambers in the panels. Each of the openings used for insertion or removal of workpieces is protected by the moving screen. The press itself is enclosed by a capsule with viewing windows, doors and flaps in it. The capsule is removed readily for changing tooling on three sides of the press by sliding enclosing walls upwards.
