Multipurpose control desk for teaching purposes - has upper box containing appts. mounted on mobile substructure

The wide box under part of the desk contains the various teaching equipment and aids including e.g. cassette recorders and is connected to a supporting cupboard base structure which is mounted on castors for easy movement. The broad upper appts. housing can be connected to the substructure by screws, rivets or support webs. The upper part is pref. designed so that its horizontal surface cross-section is considerably larger than that of the substructure. The upper part pref. includes a hydraulically powered infinitely adjustable platform which can take an overhead projector.
