Gas filter backflushing system - with pivoted nozzle arm opening compressed air value and sealing clean gas outlets

A backflushing system for gas filters includes a power cylinder which is actuated by the rise in resistance of the filter element. It moves a hinged flushing air tube which contacts the valve on an air receiver and opens it. Nozzles on the air tube enter the clean gas outlets of the filter, seal them and produce a backflushing burst of air. The lower flow resistance of the elements restores the initial position. This is a simple backflushing method and requires a min. of space.
