An enclosed box loudspeaker system is used. it is esp. a high-powered system with one or more loudspeakers in a compact cabinet of small dimensions, in which systems are provided to dissipate the heat generated by the currents in the loudspeaker coils. The heat dissipation may be effected by a component (4) of material of good thermal conductivity with a large external surface connected to the heat-generating components by a body (7) of good thermal conductivity, so that heat generated is conducted to an external radiating surface.
