The parent patent claims an arrangement for mounting cantilevers in construction of balconies at facades which have an inteior, insulated zone, and an exterior zone free of thermally conductive regions. The insulated zone is part of the load-bearing section of the fascade and made up to hollow posts and struts. The balconies are associated with the exterior zone and fastened to the load-bearing part of the fascade by means of the cantilevers each of which engages openings in the load-bearing parts of the fascade, leading a gap to be filled with thermal insulation. In this improvement the part of the cantilever engaging the opening has a vertical extension which bears upon a vertical inner wall of the load-bearing part and is also thermally insulated against it. Glass-fibre-reinforced polyamide or polyethylene terephthalate support pads are associated with the extension.
