Suspended ceiling support network nodal unit - has arms firmly joined to carrier profiles between ends and slits

In the suspended ceiling structure there is a network of support profiles with ends connected by nodal elements hung on the main ceiling. The arms on the flat plate nodal elements have upward protruding bent sections engaging transverse slits at an interval from the support profiles ends. The support profiles (1) are firmly connected to the arms (4) on the nodal elements (2) in the area between the support profile ends (11) and the slit, pref. in the centre of this support area. A protrusion (7) on one unit fits a hole (9) through the other, with stop pieces on the upper side of the support profile or underside of the nodal element. This prevents twisting between support profile and nodal element, without adapting arm width to opening width, and ensures rigid connection.
