Fully automatic calendar display - utilises flap numbers to indicate day, week, and month of year

A calendar with facility for fully automatic changeover provides for the display of day, week, month and year. As an alternative to a display consisting of rotating discs, it is proposed that the display flap techniques previously employed in digital clocks should be used. The drive system is intended to utilise gear and cam mechanisms to transmit motion from a drive motor. The day/month drive link operates at 1/35, 1/36, 1/37, 1/38 or 1/40 rotation angle fractions.
