The device can be used for measurement of fuel consumption of heaters etc. IT comprises two vessels separated by two highly flexible, fuel resistant diaphragms. One vessel represents the gauge glass, while the other holds between two probes a weight calibrated reference liquid. The device is connected to an electronic control unit and through a pipe (03) to the engine etc., controlled by a solenoid valve. The gauge glass (05) is automatically filled through electronically controlled valves (02, 06) and a bent pipe (04) reaching to the diaphragm (08). The filling weight is controlled by the calibration liquid (07) in the calibration glass (09) between points (10, 13). The probes start and stop an electronic timer and automatically refill the gauge glass (05). This is done by the lower probe (13) delivering a signal when the descending calibration liquid level (11) passes it. The electronic control unit opens a valve (02), so that the engine etc. is again directly connected with the fuel tank.
