Etching plant for use in operations for printed circuit boards (PCB) has no moving parts to move the PCB's past the stationary nozzles and runs no risk of the nozzles becoming clogged. A tank is subdivided into a storage section for the etching fluid above a heating unit, with a pump which delivers the fluid to a channel along one side of the other part of the tank. The PCB stands at an inclined position on a grating so that the fluid flows over a groove uniformly over the board. An inclined bottom below the grating returns the fluid to the storage tank.
