The archery aid in the form of a stand is used for depositing a bow. Several holding brackets are arranged on the stand columns (1). At least two brackets are provided for a bow (16, 17). The upper bracket (20) supports the bow and the lower bracket (10) can be moved along the column and clamped. This lower bracket encloses the bow string externally and internally. Alternatively the bracket can be moved along the column and clamped.
