There are at least two movable roof sections (12, 13), facing each other in pairs and mounted on both sides of the ridge (14). These are engaged by a drive, for sliding movement, sited in the ridge. There can be a chain drive (28), with horizontal carrier bolt (30) protruding beyond the chain (29) on both sides, linked to both movable roof sections. This is attractive from outside, and provides good lighting ventilation, sealing, heat insulation and handling.
