The window, contributing to air-conditioning, has one or more air intakes (11), leading into the intervening space between insulation window and inner window, and outlets (12), from this. The nozzles for both purposes are sited parallel to each other, on a window frame shank. Both may be on the top frame shank (10), or on the bottom shank (13), or there may be an additional intake on the shank not used. One intake at least may be fitted with a regulating flap. The cross shank facing the outlet may be a hollow channel on the inside. Equally effective for hat or cold insulation in summer or winter, and intake is fully utilised.
