摘要
The H2O2 is stabilised by the addn. of an emulsion contg. (a) fatty cpd. capable of forming organic hydroperoxides, such as fatty alcohols with straight or branched chains and derivs. of these contg. ether and/or keto gps., and (b) anionic and/or non-ionic surfactants which have a high wetting and emulsifying power, and which hold the cpds. (a) in emulsion. The emulsions have good stabilisation of peroxide bleaching compsns. of the type which are applied to cotton and heated to temps. of =100 degrees C to bleach it. The emulsions are used to replace the alkali(ne earth) silicate stabilisers used prevously, which can lead to the formation of a ppte. of silicic acid cpds. on the pleached goods and on the treatment appts. This gives prods. with a hard handle, while the incrustations on the appts. are hard to remove and may cause damage to the fabric. The emulsions also promote rapid penetration of the bath into the fabric and retard the splitting of the H2O2 molecule at high temps.
