Boiler reheat steam temp. control - uses controlled mixing of outlet steam from high pressure stage with reheated steam inlet into next stage

The boiler unit controls the temp. of the steam returning from the re-heater (3). It comprises a steam line (13) contg. a control valve (14) which takes low-temp. steam from the outlet of a high-pressure stage (1) and mixes it with the high-temp. steam coming from the re-heater before this enters the next stage (5). The steam line (13) may contain stop valve (15). It may be arranged adjacent to the stages (1. 5). The control valve (14) may be operated as a function of the temp. of the re-heated steam at the re-heater outlet.
