The firing practice target metal plate has hit field ensuring ready observation of hits. The target can be linked to electronic control and display system. The hit area is an opening (3) in the target plate (8). Behind this opening is arranged a light curtain (4) for generating a switching pulse to the analyser when a bullet passes through the curtain. A bullet collector tube (5) behind the target is filled with a black material for catching bullets.
