A tea filter container is adapted for use in electric coffee machines. The filter section of the container system is fitted with a large number of outlet openings. The whole surface of the filter section (4) is equipped with narrow grooves (6) and the outlet openings (7) are positioned in the base surfaces of the grooves (6). The filter section is formed as a plate shaped filter inset which has a pin (5) projecting through the outflow opening (3) in the base (2) of the filter section (1).
