Coin tester with spring-loaded returning lever - has coin channel and electromagnet releasing jammed coins when lever is operated

The coin channel consists of the tester base plate with a hinged spring-loaded raceway support. Physical properties of the coins are tested in the channel. A spring-loaded returning lever pushes out coins jammed in the channel when a wiper blade is operated. Returning lever (10), operated by a mechanical returning push-button (17), is connected through a microswitch (20) to an electro-magnet. When this magnet is energised its armature holds the raceway (3) against a spring pressure in its original position.
