The missile electric supply system is partic. for the fuse, having a piezo-electric element in which a charge is generated by a pressure or blow, the charge being stored in a capacitor. The capacitor has a dielectric whose constant alters with temp. and is so mounted that it heats up while the missile is in flight. It can be in heat contact with the outer missile case. The element and capacitor can be so dimensioned that the charge generated in the element is insufficient for the system connected to it, the balance being made up by the charge in the capacitor after heating.
