The opposite faces of the switch housing have each a through aperture for the line ends. Near these apertures is provided a tensile relief arrangement. In the longitudinal middle of the housing is mounted a switch with an actuator passing through a housing opening. The switch housing consists of an inner (1) and an outer housing. The inner housing has a longitudinal housing half (2), containing the contact terminal (4) and the switch (3). The outer housing consists of two housing caps (5) which can be inserted from opposite sides on the inner housing. Inside the overlapping clamping parts (6) of the inner housing are formed clamping surfaces (8) on either side of the line end (7). The assembly is held together by the inserted housing caps.
