The grave light is supplied from a bar-shaped battery (2), which, together with the bulb (3), is accommodated in a container (1) of transparent plastic, at least at the top part enclosing the bulb. The battery container can be of transparent plastic, its top edge being 2-4 cm above the battery, while the bulb is below this edge also. The container cross-section can be appreciably greater than that of the battery, heat-insulating material (6) being provided between them.
