Mixer for particulate, powder and liq. components consists of a mixing vessel having spherical form but with V cross section. Inserted into the vessel are one or two shafts with agitator elements attached to them. The two blades mix in areas adjacent to each other. The mixer pref. takes the form of two inclined cylinders with mixers located down the axes of the two cylinders. Used as a concrete mixer or for mixing chemicals in the process industries. The design reduces the number of seals which are in contact with abrasive materials.
