Bar screen garbage bunker - with dewatering trough chain conveyor and distributor drum for disintegrator

Material collected on the bar screens of effluent and sewage plant is stored in an elongated bunker with a trough chain conveyor and water drainage along the bunker bottom. At the discharge end, this conveyor is surmounted by a distributor drum inside the bunker which is driven in the same direction as the conveyor. Larger amts. of collected material can thus be stored and discharged to a disintegrator in a uniform stream in a dewatered state prior to combustion or composting.
