The pipeline safety coupling is used for reliable separation and simultaneous closing of pipelines. The coupling prevents loss of liquids or gases in case of drifting of a ship away from loading berth or in case of an accident. The partition plane of the hollow cylinder (1) is covered by means of pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder (4) and pivoted lever (5). The safety coupling is held together by the keys which are held in the grooves of the housing (2) and in the grooves of the covering flange (3). On forcible separating the rotating parts in the coupling are rotated into sealing position automatically.
