The balance of a tennis racket can be improved by adding weights to the edge of the frame. The added weight which may be of metal, plastics or graphite or any combination of these materials, is made in the form of a curved bar and riveted to the edge of the racket frame. The addition of this weight improves the swing and increases the striking force of the racket. The principle can be applied equally well to rackets for badminton or squash.
