The component moves along a certain path, driven by an electric drive. The device has a position pickup generating a feedback signal representing the position of the component. A comparator circuit is used. It compares this feedback signal with an input signal representing the component nominal position. Its output signal controls the electric drive system. The input signal (E) representing the nominal position is applied to the comparator (4) input through a limiter circuit (7). This circuit is used for limiting the rate of rise of this signal.
