Coupling system for wheel sets of toy railway wagons - causes centre set of wheels to move sideways when turning

A toy railway wagon or carriage has three sets of wheels which are coupled together in such a way that the vehicle can negotiate sharp bends. This is achieved by attaching the end sets of wheels to a block (2) which slides in an hour-glass shaped slot (11) in the base. The centre set of wheels is attached to a similar block (7) which slides in a rectangular slot (12). The centre block (7) is then attached to each end block (2) by bars (8) which can pivot about their centres (13). As the sets of wheels turn the middle set is pushed sideways.
