Printed matter envelope for machine filling - is formed from plastic tube slit at sides to form flaps to which adhesive is applied and cut at centre to form two pockets
The printed matter envelopes are filled by machine. The envelope has a glued flap on one end and a weldable opening with an overhanging perforated holder on the other end. This envelope is made from a weldable endless plastics strip. The plastics strip is formed as a flat tube. This tube is separated into upper and lower strip by slits at its sides. Glue is applied to the cut edges on both sides. The lower strip is folded over the cut edges of the upper strip. The upper and lower strips are cut open in the middle, to form an overlapping flap. Separation of the strip into two envelopes is carried out by welding and cutting.
