The beehive has two brood combs and two honeycombe chambers, has full chambers (13) extending the full width of the housing between the sides of the structure (11). The frames forming these chambers are supported from clamping strips (18) mounted on the inside faces of the structure. These strips are made from wood, plastics, etc., and have U or V shaped grooves. Above and below the central zone which forms the honeycombe region, are central dividers (22) for half frames (14, 15, 16). Between groups of these frames are angle shaped discharge grids (17). Some half frames (14) are the same length, and others (15, 16) are of different lengths. The dividers (22) can be removed.
