Round putty container - has side below opening flattened for width of trowel and with trowel scraper edge

The container is for putty, comprising a tin etc. with a round opening on which a sealing cover fits. Below the round opening the round tin (1) is flattened for an are extending to the base (5) and over the width equal to that of a trowel (8). The flattened portion (4) has a rib (6) extending nearly to the level of the edge (2) of the opening (3), and with a trowel scraper edge (7) running parallel to the plane of the opening edge. The rib can be fitted to the inside of the flattened portion, typically by gluing. A trowel can be detachably fitted to the outside of this portion.
