The device is intended for HV overhead lines, and has a triangular frame connected to the two insulator chains, and a connection point for the cable. The frame has a spacing element operating under compression, and two elements connecting the insulators with the cable suspension and operating under tension. Each tension element (9, 10) of the hinged frame (7) consists of two openable elements (13-15) normally locked against the pull of the cable (F), and released by an arm (19) of the cable suspension (12). A damper (20) is provided for the opening of the tension elements.
