Circular saw blade for timber - uses adhesively bonded plate for damping vibration and noise

The circular saw blade is used especially for sawing timber. A surface (11, 12) of the saw blade (10) is provided with a seat (13) into which is fastened a sheet metal plate (14). The free surface of this inserted plate matches a surface of the saw blade. The inserted blade is held by adhesive bonding. The seat and the bonded blade have a large dia. This arrangement damps the saw blade vibration and thus noise.
