Oil burner thermostat control system - has resistance-heated bimetal strips with levers actuating microswitches

A thermostatically-controlled oil vapouriser burner system functions in two stages with different quantities of oil. The thermostat at actuates a switch cutting the first stage in and followed by an oil regulator delivering a small quantity of oil and combustion air via a fan and igniting it. The second stage is cut in by a sequence contact on the thermostat and a second switch, setting the regulator to a larger oil quantity and controlling it. The switches comprise resistance-heated bi-metal strips on which there are mounted levers, one regulating the small oil quantity and actuating one or more microswitches supplying current to the ignition coil and via a resistance to the fan. The other controls the larger quantity and cuts out the resistance via a further microswitch.
