Electric lamp assembly in globe - which can be turned by permanent magnet and having safety switch which operates when globe is moved

The lamp consists of a globe (1) inside which is placed an electric lamp (2). This is held in the lower part of the assembly so that it can be turned by a permanent magnet (4). Around the magnet there is a ring (7) under the action of a spring (8). When the globe is withdrawn from the lower part (3) of the assembly, a safety switch is actuated and this disconnects the lamp (2). The force of the spring is such that the globe (1) is maintained by the permanent magnet against the spring force. The safety switch is worked by a lever.
