The brush is for cleaning surfaces which are uneven, and have gaps etc. such as teeth, and incorporates a base (1) in which are embedded bristles or tufts of bristles (2, 3), of alternating, varying hardness. The harder bristles (2) are longer than the softer ones (3), and can be corrugated in shape. The diameter, or area, of tufts (2) made of harder bristles is smaller than that of tufts (3) made of softer bristles. The distance between the separate types of tufts varies with the type of surface, for which the brush is intended.
