An electro-mechanical sensor compares the required and actual positions of both machines (1, 2) and is connected with the driven harvesting machine (1) and with the driver-less harvesting machine (2). The established position change acts via an electrical pulse on the central or steering hydraulics system of the drive-less machine (2). The linkage (3) consists of an arm fixed to the driver-less machine and a pivot arm (8) connected with the driven machine (1) via a spring element (9).
