Lockable chuck for impact operation drill - has sleeve with teeth matching nut locked together by ratchet bolts

The geared nut for a drilling machine chuck is positively locked, for use during impact drilling e.g. of masonry. The locking arrangement is a sleeve fitted on the drilling head. The sleeve end facing the toothed rim of chuck nut has a blocking toothed rim which engages with the nut toothed rim for locking. The locking sleeve is actuated by ratchet bolts in radial bores held by an enclosing elastic ring.
