Air supply for oil burner head - has ignition electrode in air supply chamber with adjacent tube as opposite electrode

The oil burner head has an outer tube for combustion air feed, near the mouth of which a pot is coaxially inserted. The pot has on its opening side a whirling disc with a central hole, and through its base pass a burner nozzle and several axial small air tubes. At least one of the small air tubes is formed as an ignition electrode and a neighbouring tube as a counter electrode. The ignition electrode tube contains a radial brace which carries the point projecting axially out of the tube mouth. The air tubes, the brace and the point are made of electrically conductive material and the floor of the pot is made of insulating material, preferably glass.
