Generation and transmission of colour TV signal - using disc with colour filters rotated together with magnetic head wheel having recording head for each colour

A rotating filter disc with sectors having different spectral transmission is positioned in the light path. The magnetic head wheel (10) of a tape recorder is connected with the filter disc. The number of recording heads (9R, 9B, 9G) is equal to that of colour sectors (6R, 6B, 6G). Each head records on the magnetic tape (14) in an oblique track a signal from the camera corresponding to the passage of a suitable colour filter (6R, 6B, 6G) through the light path.
