A free choise of patterns is made possible, and scope is offered to the imagination, esp. of children, in the creation of designs embroidered on fabrics, in cross stitch with yarns of different colours. From a number of pattern plates, one or more may be selected and impressed on the fabric by means of a hand stamp, in any desired layout. The pattern plates may be clipped in the order desired between the edges of the hand stamp frame. In the embroidery set, a frame is provided on which the fabric can be stretched, together with a hand stamp, pattern plates and yarn of different colours, and it has great attraction.
