Fine granular material easily fluidised or pneumatically conveyed - by low frequency vibrations esp. produced by electromagnetic vibrators

A method of producing fluidisable powdered masses of finely granulated materials in vessels during the course of conentional fluidising and homogenizing or transporting processes consists of subjecting the powder to mechanical pulses of frequency 25-150 (40-80) Hz. It is found that by applying pulses to the material in this way the disturbing effect of the electrostatic field in particles of different sizes is eliminated and the material flows freely.
