A series of extractor appliances are distributed along the length of the working face, with tool holders mounted to swivel up and down on the demolution units in a section being worked in stages, on a working machine used in underground mining. The tool holders (19) belonging to the extractor appliances (30) are mounted in this way on the caps (12) of the demolition units (10). The holders can swivel to different levels and are movable forward against the working face and consist of swivel frames with parallel support arms (22) in guides on the units. This permits high output in difficult seams.
