Four point hydraulic suspension - has compensating cylinder and diagonal connection for wheel cylinders to provide smooth ride on rough ground

The four point hydraulic suspension has the hydraulic cylinders of each side of the vehicle linked to a main control cylinder with a floating piston. Depression of the one suspension element raises the other accordingly so that a level ride is obtained over rough ground. The main cylinder is linked to a similar cylinder for the other side of the vehicle, by a main control rod (5). The two interlinked cylinders also provide a diagonal compensation when running over rough ground. No complex control circuits are required and the system can be fitted with automatic pumps to top up any fluid losses.
