The pis stall consists of a number of adjacent bays with automatic fodder feed, with ventilated mains storage underneath the stall and with stall ventilation. Each individual bay(2-9) is enclosed and thermally insulated. Each has a gravity ventilation(19, 21, 22) independent of the rest of the bays consisting of bottom feed opening(22) and top, adjustable outlet air spring(21). The front wall of the bay, which accepts the door(12) and faces the aisla(10), is about man-high between the aisle surface and the top limit of the wall. The roof of the stalls falls away to the back wall(11). the aisle(10) is elevated above the floor(18) of the bay and form the top part of an automatic feeding system(23).
